Whether you sell to your colleagues, your network, or the general public, you will earn competitive part-time or full-time commissions.

SASSA DEDUCTION

You will earn a capture fee and 2.5 times the monthly premium of the policy in commission. For example:

- If you sell a policy with a premium of R210 per month to a SASSA grant recipient, your commission will be R210 x 2.5 + R50 = R575 (Excl. VAT).
- If you sell a policy with a premium of R180 per month to a SASSA grant recipient, your commission will be R180 x 2.5 + R50 = R500 (Excl. VAT).
- If you sell 10 policies with R210 premiums and another 10 with R180 premiums, your total commission will amount to R9,750 (Excl. VAT).

(Note that these are illustrative figures and may change with notice from the insurer.)

As an independent contractor, you can sell either the 1Life Funeral plan or the Clientele Life Legacy Funeral plan to qualifying SASSA Grant holders, where the premium is deducted directly from the grant holder’s SASSA account (not their bank account). Qualifying grant holders include those receiving disability grants and old age grants (no other grant holders qualify for this product). This opportunity is particularly suitable for retirees and is ideal for communities, such as churches, that wish to assist unemployed individuals within their networks to begin generating income. Churches or community organizations have the ability to engage with SASSA grant recipients, and by endorsing this opportunity, they can create jobs and foster income within their communities.

**IMPORTANT:** The insurers do not have a relationship with SASSA, and SASSA does not endorse any insurance product.
*Qualifying Sale - All sales must meet the quality standards established by the insurer and comply with Regulation 62.

SASSA sales must:
- Be made in accordance with the rules of treating clients fairly, ensuring honesty and integrity (no fraud, lies, or deceit).
- Abide Regulation 62 and that the SASSA deduction does not exceed 10% of the grant amount.
- Be recorded accurately using the 1Life broker interface or the Clientele Mobile app on the representative’s mobile phone.
- Include a successfully completed Q-link biometric application.

**IMPORTANT:** If a policy is cancelled within 60 days of submission, and you have already received payment for that sale, there will be a claw-back of the commission paid to you. We will not pay any commission for fraudulent sales.

GOVERNMENT SALARY DEDUCTION

You will earn 2.5 times the monthly premium of the policy in commission. For example

- If you sell a R300 per month policy to a government worker, your commission will be R300 x 2.5 = R750 (Excl. VAT).
- If you sell a R238 per month policy to a government worker, your commission will be R238 x 2.5 = R595 (Excl. VAT).
- If you sell 10 policies at R310 and 10 policies at R238, your total commission will be R13,700 (Excl. VAT).

(Note that these are illustrative figures and may change with notice from the insurer.)

As an Independent Contractor, you can offer the 1Life Funeral Plan to government employees, with the policy premium deducted directly from their salaries (GSD) instead of their bank accounts. Government employees include nurses, teachers, police officers, administrative staff, and back-office personnel. This opportunity is perfect for current government workers looking to earn a secondary income by selling to colleagues or connections.

*Qualifying Sale - All sales must adhere to the quality standards established by the Insurer. GSD sales must:

- Comply with treating clients fairly, along with honesty and integrity rules (no fraud, lies, or deceit).
- Meet the minimum criteria for salary deductions, as government employees may not have more than 15% of their salary allocated to deductions.
- Be accurately recorded using the 1Life broker interface on your mobile phone.

**IMPORTANT:** If a policy cancels within 60 days of submission and you have already received payment for that sale, there will be a claw-back of the commission previously paid. We will not pay any commission for fraudulent sales.

EARNING ON DEBIT ORDER (DEBICHECK) SALES

As an Independent Contractor, you can sell the Clientele Life Funeral plan to qualifying clients where the premium of the policy is deducted directly from client's bank account.  This opportunity is ideal for anyone who wants to earn by making sales to the general public. Commission is calculated on the policy payers age, the older the policy payer, the higher the commission.

So, to use an example:

If you sell a policy to a 43 year old client, then:

- You will earn a capture fee of R55 upon successful submission of a qualifying sale.

- If the first premium successfully collects then you will earn R140.

- If the second premium successfully collects you will earn R95.

- If the third premium successfully collects you will earn R95.

- If the fourth premium successfully collects you will earn R80

This gives you a total earning of R55 + R140 + R95 + R95 + R80 = R465

* Qualifying sale - All sales must meet the quality standards as set out by the Insurer, sales must:

- be made in accordance the treating clients fairly and honesty and integrity rules (no fraud, lies or deceit)

- be captured accurately using the Clientele Mobile app on the representatives mobile phone.

- have successfully completed the Q-link biometric application

IMPORTANT: If a policy cancels within 30-days of submission, and you have received payment for such sale already, then there will be a claw-back of the commission paid to you for that sale. We will not pay any commission for fraudulent sales.
